Summer Adult Master Rowers Program

Long Island Rowing offers two summer Adult rowing sessions for experienced adult rowers who already know how to row and wish to row with other experienced adult rowers.

This program meets once a week on Sunday morning. Participants will go out in sweep boats (4’s and/or 8’s) depending on the number of attendees on any given Sunday. Rowers are accompanied by an experienced coach in a coach launch boat fully equipped with all the necessary safety equipment. Coaching tips are offered for those who wish to hone their rowing skills.

We welcome adult rowers of all ages, shapes, sizes and skill levels. A “Master” rower is considered to be 27 years old or older, though we will allow anyone 21 years and over to row in this program. Our coaches will accommodate both recreational and competitive level rowers.

A "Limited Sagamore Rowing Association Membership Fee" for the times you are rowing with this program is included in the price of the program. If you already maintain a Full Sagamore Rowing Association Membership - with no restrictions, a refund will be provided for the Limited Sagamore Rowing Associtaion Membership Fee included within this program. If you qualify for this option please discuss this with our Membership Coordinator.

Note: if you wish to row more than once a week or your schedule only permits weekday evening rowing, please communicate this request to our Membership Coordinator Brian Giehl and we will make an effort to develop a program around others with similar requirements.

Note: Group Discount Rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Please contact our Membership Coordinator for more information.
